So, you have money to burn and want to buy something great this Christmas. What could be better than a Christmas tree adorned with 400 diamonds? Being offered by Takashimaya department store chain in China, the diamond-covered Christmas tree asks for a cool US $1.8 million. The tree is actually a small tower of preserved roses with a teddy bear. It stands 40 centimeters high and flaunts about 100 carats of diamonds from southern Africa and Australia. The store cited that the smaller diamond pieces sparkle charmingly like morning dew on petals, while two-carat and three-carat pieces mesmerize admirers with their noble glow.
