House of the Future is no longer a thing of the past!
February 13, 2008
Still looks pretty 70’s ish

The house of the future very quickly became a part of the forgotten past at the land of fun, joy and of course cartoons. But now Disney is bringing back the lost future as it plans to open a new and revamped ‘House of the Future’. So if you get to be in state of California this summer, then get ready to go on a journey in to the future courtesy of Walt Disney. The house is not just going to be a rehashed version of the old one, which barely lasted a decade, but will be brand new with gadgets that are aimed at startling you. The first House of the Future at Disneyland lasted from 1957 until 1967 and it should not come as a surprise to anyone that the technology inside the house quickly became the present than the future. The house was soon closed as it was obviously no longer the house that took you on a trip in to the future. It was Monsanto, which originally sponsored the first House of the Future and this time it will be software giants like Microsoft and HP along with LifeWare that sponsor the home. The new House of the Future would not just furnish the best in modern day gadgets but goes well beyond that.
Outdoor home theater
February 7, 2008

If you have to pick one location between LA and Hollywood for your dream house, where would it be? Confusing right? Inevitable, for both are equally wonderful places. And if you’re placed upwards Hollywood and downwards LA, you’ll definitely go anything but crazy! Here is situated a dream home of architect Hagy Belzberg that touts of being the most sought after location for a home because it houses the coolest home theater in the world. There is no reason you’ll disagree with me, when I rate it there as the coolest, coz the outdoor home theater here is certainly beyond imagination. With ample open space, fresh air, startling view of LA and of course your favorite movie on its lustrous screen, the outdoor home theater simply surpasses even the best theaters in the world.

Barry’s Farm Robot Laptop Sleeve
November 10, 2007
I found a selection of adorable laptop sleeves from Barry’s Farm a few weeks ago and PetSugar actually purchased one with an “awww” worthy hedgehog print, prompting jealousy from all the gals in the office. I’ll admit though, the designs I showed you were a tad girlie and a few male readers emailed asking if the company has anything for those with more masculine tastes. Boy do they ever! The Barry’s Farm Robot Laptop Sleeve, $40, features a cute robotic figure and customizable phrases like “Zorp!” on it.
