WineRack is THE Sports Bra of the Century

October 31, 2007

WineRack Drinking System

There’s two things in this world that the stereotypical man can’t live without: beer and boobs. Thanks to the makers of the Beer Belly, no man will go thirsty or visually unsatisfied. Aptly named the WineRack, it holds 25oz or 750ml of liquid in a bra like device. Not large enough for the average beer drinker, but who really cares when you’re taking a pull from your girls…bra? No actual pictures of the device seem to exist on the makers website, so a running theory is that they’re testing market demand with ‘preorders’. The device comes in small and medium, and is not recommended for the ‘well endowed’ ladies.

Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Type 370 Watch

September 12, 2007

Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Type 370 Watch (Images courtesy Parmigiani Fleurier)

Let’s officially declare it “Ridiculously Expensive Watch Day” here on OhGizmo! If the $50,000 Aston Martin DBS watch we brought you earlier still doesn’t seem elite enough for your tastes then we’ve got a great alternative. The Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Type 370 was honored by the Japanese press as the ‘2006 Watch of the Year’ and it was originally only supposed to be available to owners of the Bugatti Veyron supercar. But apparently thanks to high demand it’s now available to everyone. (Relatively speaking.)

The watch uses a unique transversal movement with a vertically oriented watch face for easier viewing while driving. It actually needs to be wound about every ten days but that’s done with the assistance of a battery powered metal pen you insert into the bottom of the watch.

As for the price? How does $280,000 sound? I can see why it’s been in such high demand.

iPod Hoodie: Street Meets Athlete Chic

July 17, 2007

The gals over at Shiny Shiny discovered this iPod Hoodie for iPod nano, which is priced at ??16.99 (about $34 USD), and promises to keep your iPod nano warm while boosting it’s street cred.

Sure, it may look like a So You Think You Can Dance warm up, but the iPod Hoodie is an actual case that’s soft enough to protect your iPod from bumps, scrapes and scratches and hardcore enough to keep you cool. (Well, maybe not the pink…)

No zippers, clasps or screen features on this one, just a cozy cover.

Veiled Watch Is Damn Near Invisible

July 10, 2007

Veiled Watch

Isn’t it unfair that it’s not socially acceptable for men to wear jewelry? I mean, we like shiny things as much as anyone, right guys? Whether or not it was his intention (and I’m reasonably sure it wasn’t), designer Philippe Starck has created a watch that’s effectively invisible, blending seamlessly into a lovely silver band that you can wear without feeling too girly (unless, you know, you like feeling girly). [ Nope. -Ed.] The crystal face of the watch has been flush mounted and electroplated to match the band to the point where you can barely (just barely) make out the hands… Sure, it might be a little difficult to tell time with it, but it sure is pretty. Good thing it’s a totally manly and practical watch, too. Yours for $150.

Offside football coffee table for your living room

July 3, 2007

offside-football-coffee-table-1_48

The Offside Football Coffee Table is designed for those who have a passion for soccer and are looking for some perfect addition to their living room or bar. Made from solid oak with a stainless steel frame, the table comes with a glass top that protects the mirrored football pitch underneath. The notion of a football table inside a coffee table has been designed and handcrafted by Howard Bushell who thinks that the football stadiums can often be architecturally beautiful. This chic and highly functional football coffee table asks you to shell out $7,612. That seems quite pricey but you simply can?t resist this thing.
