1974 Lamborghini for wall art – Art’s really expensive
November 30, 2007

Rarity is a strange fascination, and if car’s an addition upon – the combo could be real fatal, not really though. Richard Moriarty, an ordinary customer in the real heat of obsession has brought his beloved car out of his garage right on to the walls of his living room, sounds strange, but the cute tale of fanaticism is quite hilarious. Moriarty tired of having his 1974 Lamborghini towed repeatedly owing to the stalling engine, choose otherwise to hang the car on a wall of his living space. Previously having removed the car’s engine transforming the beauty into a “200-mph coffee table,” the entire hanging procedure still required the use of a 70-ton crane, to lift the 1,000-pound car through a skylight to its final resting place, where it hangs over a solid glass staircase. The car hanging has got the lad some publicity for sure, costing only $60,000 when bought; today the same will fetch him millions – because that wall hanging’s light glow.
